Announcement – Retirement
Jeff Scothorn, Genetic Advisor
It is with mixed emotions that we announce that Jeff Scothorn, Genetic Advisor, has decided to retire from NSAB. Jeff has a long history with NSAB both as a former employee and as a dairy farmer in the area. He has been an integral part of the team, having returned to support us following his retirement, and is known for his dedication to the industry and his customers.
We are grateful for all Jeff has brought to NSAB and wish him all the very best in his next chapter. Please join us is celebrating's Jeffs contributions and wishing him well in the future.
Jeff will continue to serve NSAB to serve customers as we search for his replacement. The job posting for his replacement can be found here:

RE: Annual General Meeting
The 80th Annual General Meeting of the Nova Scotia Animal Breeders’ Co-operative Ltd will convene on Thursday, January 29th, 2026 at 10:30 am at Truro Fire Hall, 165 Victoria Street, Truro. Storm date will be Friday, January 30th – location to be announced.
A light lunch will be provided, following the meeting.
